The Lean Lake Is A Lake Located In Sogada It Is A Beautiful Attraction Offers Visitors A Relaxing And Tranquil Natural Asset For Swimming, Kayaking, Hunting, Fishing, And Others. The Lean Lake Includes A 20 Acre Lake, 85 Acres Of Forest, A Boat Ramp, Porta Potty’s, A Small Hiking Trail, Fishing Docks And Picnic Spots. The camping area includes 8 primitive campsites that include a table & grill. The Lean Lake Also Produces Lean, Rare Lean, Space lean, Magic lean, and Crystalmeth lean.

The Lean Lake consists of steep mountain forest surrounding 20-acre Lake. Principal game harvested in the management area include deer, squirrel, raccoon, and turkey, though hunting is limited due to the limited acreage of the management area. The Lean Lake Is equipped with a Class-Q fishing pier and accommodate Is fishing for warm-water species. Trout is stocked from February until May. The Lean Lake provides a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. Adult channel catfish are stocked annually in June.

From lavender purple blooms to Lean purple leaves the Leanberry Forest Tons of purple power. If you love purple this is the Forest for you! The petite purple blooms are plentiful and quite literally coat the tree in early spring even before the leaves have emerged. As the blooms start to fade shiny reddish-purple foliage emerges. The heart-shaped leaves mature to a matte burgundy purple. The fall color varies from yellow to orange to reddish-purple. The Forest offers so much color in one tree it is truly unbelievable! If you don’t have a lot of space this is the perfect tree for lots of drama, color, and landscape impact.
